The global purpose of the Loma Linda University Adventist Health Sciences Center (LLUAHSC) organization is to participate in Jesus Christ’s healing and teaching ministry by educating health-care professionals, scholars, and scientists through delivery of and excellence in health care services and research.

A nonprofit religious corporation in Loma Linda, California, LLUAHSC serves the Seventh-day Adventist Church in its mission “to make man whole” physically, intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually.

LLUAHSC is the umbrella organization that directs, sponsors, supports, and harmonizes the activities of its core and affiliate organizations:

Loma Linda University Health Care (LLUHC) is the Management Service Organization (MSO) that supports the many programs and services provided by the more than 600 faculty physicians and some of the nation’s largest clinical programs for outpatient surgery and neonatal care.
